Notes
This record has been made with the cooperation of RCA, Phonogram and EMI. The low priced album was presented to record-byers by the Dutch association of record-shops together with the Dutch record-industry and STEMRA (Dutch artist rights). This offer was only valid 10 days, from September 24, 1981 until October 3, 1981, to promote classical baroque music made by Dutch performers and artists. The sleeve notes are in Dutch.
Within the gate-fold sleeve an 8 page leaflet the size of an LP is attached by staples with notes and illustrations in Dutch explaining what Baroque Music is. Together with a small picture-catalogue of albums at the bottom of each page it gives extensive information on style, composers, performers and characteristics, as well as instruments and terms.
The painting on the front cover: "Kamermuziek in het Kasteel" was made in 1779 by Pehr Hilleström (1733-1816).
